Artsonia Online Gallery
Hello Parents and Guardians of HES students!

This note it to let you know that we are registered with Artsonia this year and we are working on photographing student artworks (several per year) to upload to the gallery. This short video explains it in a nutshell: CLICK HERE

Artsonia is the World's Largest Student Art Museum. Yet it's so much more than that! It's a free, safe, educational program designed to connect parents and families with their child's creative activities at school.
Many art teachers use this database as a digital portfolio, and they are making it easier for teachers/parents to participate...with the iPad and app, it is fairly easy to photograph and upload photos of artwork. There is also a space for students to type learning statements, and hopefully we can utilize this as well.

To view our student gallery, click here: CLICK HERE Most students have at least one artwork uploaded to our gallery at this time. *All uploaded artwork remains hidden until the parent visits Artsonia and gives permission to show the artwork in the school public gallery.
Actual artwork will be sent home with the exception of one piece we hold back for our Spring Fine Arts Show.

Parents can order their child's artwork on mugs, shirts, etc, and 20% of the funds raised go back to the school art program for supplies and equipment!

Parents will be receiving a note with their child's login and password this week or next week--so that the get e-mail notifications when work is posted. They can also share it with other family members to create a fan club. It is also a cumulative portfolio that we can add to throughout their elementary career.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns--stop in during Parent Teacher Conferences with any questions!
