45th Class Reunion – July 5-6, 2025

Hello fellow classmates.

I am planning our 45th class reunion this summer on July 5–6. We haven’t had a reunion in 20 years, so we need to catch up, as time goes by so quickly!

July 5th

• We’ll meet at the Downtowner deck at 6 PM. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll meet upstairs at the Downtowner in the events room.

July 6th

• We’re planning a golf outing at 8:30 AM at Portage Lake Golf Course. If you’re interested in playing with classmates, please email me soon so we can schedule tee times.

• At 2:00 PM, we’ll gather at Rich Dunnebacke’s house. If the weather is poor, we’ll meet at the East Houghton lakefront park (where the skate park is located), as it has a pavilion.

Please email me soon to let me know if you’re playing golf and whether or not you’ll be attending. Hope to see you there!

60th Class Reunion – July 17-18, 2025

Great news!! In order to entice everyone to attend our 60th class reunion, a generous donor will cover all food expenses for both nights of our reunion. In other words, FREE FOOD AND DRINKS!!

Thursday, July 17

• Nutini’s Supper Club, Hancock. Meet and greet. 5:30 pm-7:30 pm. Trivia at 8:00 pm is optional

Friday, July 18

• Houghton High School Tour, 9:00 am. Coffee and doughnuts

• Portage Lake District Library, Houghton waterfront: 11:00am-12:30 pm The Keweenaw Time Traveler people will chat about their Keweenaw mapping project and how you can add your history and your story. Google them for more information.

• Chutes and Ladders Pavillion at Kestner Park, Houghton 5:30pm-7:30 pm Picnic buffet by Bonfire

Please let me know asap if you are attending and who your guest(s) are so we can get a number for ordering food.

I would encourage you to make hotel reservations soon because places fill up quickly. Please come. It will be great seeing everyone.
