Houghton-Portage Township Schools Parents and Community,

Welcome to the Houghton Portage Township School District! It is our mission to provide an education to each student that allows them great future opportunities and a chance to make a positive impact on our community and beyond. We are committed to providing a safe and quality education for your child. Our staff of teachers, paraprofessionals, administrators and support staff are outstanding.

As parents and community members, you are extremely vital to us. Your support, input, and involvement will assist us in preparing students for a successful future. In order to accomplish this, we must keep the lines of communication open. Whenever you have a question or concern, please feel free to contact us and we can begin to work together. It is my goal to challenge myself to meet the needs of students and make our district a better place.
